Back by popular demand! Jim French will be offering another session of his highly acclaimed coaching in MBSR technique.
All members and volunteers are encouraged to attend this class to find out more about this evidence-based technique for reducing stress.
In this introductory class, Jim French (son of active Ashby Village members Bill and
Tari) will present the basic principles of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction ("MBSR").
This class will serve as an introduction to an 8 week program using the
standard MBSR curriculum, a combination of instruction, mindfulness
practice and discussion. MBSR was one of the earliest, and now most widespread, mindfulness programs to make its way into the American mainstream.
