Do we have options about when and how we die? Do we want them? Come hear a presentation about the history of this question and how it continues to unfold as a legal issue in this country. Our presenter,
Jacie Rowe - Northern CA organizer for Compassion and Choices - will discuss:
the history of the issue of end of life choices in this country
what people should consider when considering their end of life options
Compassion and Choices
Medical Aid in Dying in different states and currently before the CA legislature
Differing opinions about choice in end of life
We will have the opportunity to ask questions and open the topic for discussion.
Please note: there is a wide range of opinion and perspective about this issue. Ashby Village is offering this as a forum for information and discussion but does not endorse any particular position.
Location: Ashby Village, 2330 Durant Ave., Berkeley
