 Come Meet Lisa Brooks

 Our Yoga Teacher at AV!

Join our Yoga for Seniors Classes on September Thursday mornings.

10:00 am - 10:40 am: Chair Yoga

10:45 am - 11:30 am: Mat Yoga

Come for either one or both, as Chair Yoga is a great warm-up for Mat Yoga.

Benefits of yoga:

            * stress reduction

            * improved breathing and circulation

            * relaxation

            * flexibility

            * building muscle tone and strength

            * increased concentration and focus

            * improved balance

Chair Yoga Classes are designed to accommodate those who do not wish to get up and down from the floor. Mat Classes are for those who are comfortable practicing laying down, in a seated position and with some standing poses. These classes incorporate gentle stretching, breath work, modified yoga poses (asanas), and relaxation. No prior experience is necessary. Come breathe, relax, move, and have fun with your friends and neighbors at Ashby Village!

Please bring:

Chair Yoga: one large towel or blanket

Mat Yoga: a yoga mat & one large towel or blanket
