Gentle Yoga:
Focus on
Balance and
Foot Health
with Ada Lusardi
Join us for September classes, which will have a special focus in on "Balance and Foot Health", in recognition of Fall Prevention Awareness month at Ashby Village.
Ada will use her expertise with anatomy and orthopedics to help students understand the role of their feet and hips in balance.
If you suffer from neuropathy in your feet, you are especially encouraged to attend. You may learn new skills to improve some sensation and understand how to use the sensory information you do receive from your feet.
Join our yoga classes on Thursday mornings:
10:00 am - 10:40 am: Chair Yoga
10:45 am - 11:30 am: Mat Yoga
Come for either one or both, as Chair Yoga is a great warm-up for Mat Yoga.
These classes incorporate gentle stretching, breath work, modified yoga poses and relaxation.
No prior experience is necessary.
Come breathe, relax, move, and have fun with your friends and neighbors at Ashby Village!
