Mushroom Walk: Tilden Nature Area
Sunday, Feb 14 at 1:00-3:30

Description: There will be a Mushroom Walk on Sunday Feb 14 1 pm to 3:30 pm at Tilden Nature Area lead by Naturalist Trent Pierce. Some of you have expressed an interest in this type of walk, and this is your chance. Mr. Pierce is not available at the time of this writing to describe the trails he will be using, but I will publish a list with degree of difficulty in early February.
Meet at the Tilden Environmental Education Center.

Directions: From North Berkeley take Spruce St to top; cross the intersection with Grizzly Peak Blvd and go downhill on Canon Rd. At the bottom of Canon turn left into the parking lot. Walk to the end of the parking lot, and beyond to the Nature Center.
Carpools: If you can provide a ride, especially from North Berkeley BART or Rockridge BART, or if you need a ride please post to the Nature Walks email forum, giving your location and phone number.
Transit: From downtown Berkeley the # 67 bus departs at 10:15 and is due at the Nature Center at 10:30.
Weather: In case of rain or iffy weather bring umbrella and rain jacket. The trails are sheltered and the park is lovely in and after a rain.
Contact: For questions please call the Tilden Nature Center, 510-544-2233. to RSVP, please Register via the AV website calendar or to the Nature Walks forum.
