Our own member and birding expert, Eric Schroeder, will lead us on a 1-2 mile birding walk in the Jewel Lake area of Tilden Park. You can turn back earlier if you need to; or, for those who want we may extend the distance a bit. The trails are easy walking but not wheelchair accessible. 
 
Meet: at 9:00 am in front of the Environmental Education Center at the Tilden Park Little Farm. 
 
Bring: Binoculars are good to have but are not required. 
 
Carpools: Post to this forum if you need a ride or want to carpool. I'll be driving from Emeryville, through Berkeley, and can pass by North Berkeley BART (but may not return this way after the walk.)
 
Transit: The 67 bus leaves downtown Berkeley at 8:30, and stops at the Tilden Little Farm
