Options for a shorter walk are available and there are benches for sitting and resting.
Where to meet : PG&E parking lot, 1100 S 27th St, Richmond, CA 94804
How to get there: directions or map (if necessary)
On Hwy 580 West, go the Marina Bay Parkway Exit and turn left onto Marina Bay Parkway. The Parkway passes under an overpass. Turn left at Pierson Ave and then right at S. 27th Street into the PG&E parking lot. Park at the south (far) end.
Equipment or special clothing, (if necessary)
Bring water as desired. Dress in layers and bring a rain jacket if weather demands. The walkway is relatively flat so poles are not required but certainly bring them if they help you enjoy the hike.
Heavy rain cancels.
