Elder Action Presents:
Yes on Proposition 15
Join us to find out why we say VOTE YES ON 15
Proposition 15 will be on our ballot this November. It will close a loophole in Prop 13 that will bring $12 billion in yearly revenue to our schools and communities by ensuring that a handful of the largest corporations like Disney and Chevron begin to pay their fair share of property taxes. It will not affect residential property of any kind.
On Tuesday, August 18, Ben Grieff will discuss what Prop 15 will and won’t do, answer our questions, and tell us how we can get involved to help pass Prop 15.
Ben Grieff sits on the Executive Committee of the Prop. 15: Schools and Communities First initiative that will appear on the November ballot. This initiative will reform the commercial side of Prop. 13 and reclaim $12 billion a year for California’s schools and communities. He will discuss the specifics of what Prop. 15 will and won’t do, answer questions from the audience, and give people who are interested information on how to get involved in this historic initiative.
