Thinking on the American Experiment, an Asian-American Perspective
- Co-sponsored by ELDER ACTION -

Ashby Village is pleased to be able to host this event as part of its effort to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in our village.

North Oakland Village member Chizu Omori was incarcerated with her family during World War II and has been a lifelong activist for the rights of marginalized people, a journalist and filmmaker. She will speak about her experiences in incarceration and her work to ensure that no other group is subjected to such treatment, as well as the current issue of anti-Asian hate.
