Nursing Homes: What's Wrong?

How do we make them safer to live in or, alternatively, outside them?

Join us to learn more about this important topic and how Ashby Village might help advocate for better care for frail seniors.

Michael Dark has been a Staff Attorney at California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform (CANHR) since 2019 with a history of litigating consumer and investor class action cases in federal court. At CANHR he focuses on nursing home regulation and preventing nursing home neglect and abuse.

Pauline Shatara has been at CANHR for 10 years and is the Deputy Director, with a focus on consumer education and Medi-Cal policy. She has a particular interest in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS.)

Although this event is FREE for all to attend, Ashby Village relies on donations in order to bring programs such as this to our members and friends. We thank you for any tax-deductible contribution.
