Nancy Yates comes to Ashby Village with many years of experience teaching Seniors as well as people with a range of disabilities including arthritis, low vision and reduced mobility.
She is trained in Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, and is a nationally certified Arthritis Foundation Instructor.
She is comfortable teaching a class that includes options for a range of abilities incorporating working with a chair as well as more advanced options. She currently teaches at Sutter Health/California Pacific Hospital San Francisco Women’s Health Resource Center, The SF Veterans Administration Medical Center, and at The Clipper Club at Watergate in Emeryville..
She will be teaching a series of classes from 10/28- 12/23/21.
