Please join us for the discussion of “The Bucket List,” a classic buddy adventure comedy-drama film directed and produced by Rob Reiner. It stars Academy Award winters Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman as

terminally ill men who set out on a wish list road trip.

The two men – as different as night and day – discover they have two things in common: a need to come to terms with who they are and what they have done with their lives, and a desire to complete a list of things they want to see and do before they die.

The film can also be a catalyst for us to think about and discuss what we might want on our own bucket lists.

Do you have any feature films to recommend for our monthly series, which are either on Netflix or Amazon? The Events Planning Team welcomes your ideas and suggestions! Please get in touch with Arlene Reiff at arlenereiff@gmail.com

Here’s some criteria to consider, according to a website with the intriguing title: https://filmdaft.com/the-5-key-ingredients-to-a-good-movie/ The key ingredients that make a movie “good” are when the acting, directing, writing, cinematography, and overall production value all come together to tell one cohesive, entertaining, and impactful story. In essence, a good movie uses all these tools of filmmaking to tell a compelling story.
