Consumer Fraud: Scams Targeting Seniors and Tips for Protection and Prevention
Jennifer Pardini, the Community Education Coordinator for Legal Assistance for Seniors & HICAP, will talk about consumer fraud and discuss common scams and forms of fraud. She will provide practical tips on how to recognize scams and protect yourself. She will also provide information on referral sources such as where to report fraud and where to get help.
Jennifer comes from a background in education and is a certified HICAP counselor. Her role involves working with all the teams in the office and bringing essential Medicare and legal information to older adults in Alameda County. She has a BA in French from San Francisco State.
