Description:
There's a lot of quirk, individualism, art, and history expressed in the streets of Berkeley. We'll explore 1-2 dozen of these features on a flat 2 mile walk with easy turn back options. Shown in the photos to the left are parts of the sculpture garden of artist Marcia Donahue and of the new block long South Berkeley history mural.
Where to meet:
In front of the Ed Roberts Center, 3075 Adeline St, across Adeline Street from Ashby BART.
How to get there:
It is best to come on BART or bus to Ashby BART, but there is also parking behind the Ed Roberts Center, accessible from Woolsey Street near Adeline. Alternately, you may allow extra time to find street parking. BART's main parking lot will be in use by the Ashby Flea Market.
