Audre and Roger Newman
present slides and stories from their September 2018 journey to the
World Nomad Games
in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia. Contestants from over 75 countries met and competed in contests of horsemanship, falconry, archery, wrestling and other sports. Ethnic former nomads from neighboring "stans" brought their yurts, woven, embroidered and felt fabrics, foods, songs and oral traditions to share.
Come and get a taste of this extraordinary experience!
