This workshop will give a taste to a 4 series of classes starting in the New Year. The Life Art Process explores and gives a voice to our personal stories through poetry, artistic drawing, movement and personal expression. This workshop will deepen the continuous dialogue between body, imagination, the creative process and life experience.
Participants will use the language of art to explore life themes and develop new resources.
Jennifer MacGregor Dennis will be facilitating the class and bringing Tamalpa's work to Ashby Village as part of her training.
This is an intro to a 4 class series for which a small donation will be requested.
About the Instructor: Jennifer MacGregor Dennis
Jennifer works as an artist, yoga teacher and bodyworker, finding deep overlaps in her work with the body and artistic expression. After spending much of this year with her Grandparents she wanted to share this work with elders in the community and create a space for their stories to be told and uncovered. Jennifer's Great Aunt, who is part of the community, guided her to Ashby Village.
