The Perennials are an experienced improvisational performing troupe of women in our 60s and 70's.
Their mission is to provide joy, laughter, and person-to-person contact by bringing our shows at no cost to groups of Bay Area elders.
- They weave improvised songs, scenes, and rhymes (and a touch of silliness) into light-hearted entertainment for groups of all sizes.
- Their shows engage the audience in the games and skits. They are enlisted to suggest topics and ideas or volunteer to join us on stage.
- Their members have performed for audiences at residences for elders, assisted living communities, senior centers, and a variety of other venues.
- They keep their skills sharp by enrolling in the improv classes at Stagebridge (the oldest senior theater school/company in the U.S.) in Oakland.
