Emery Bunch Coffee & Conversation

Let's Look Up at the Sky

The Emery Bunch of Ashby Village invites all our members, volunteers and Watergate residents to a very special presentation by Emery Bunch member Celeste Burrows. Celeste is an Astronomy Instructor at Chabot Space and Science Center.  Perhaps you have wondered about some of the following:  Do the Moon and Stars rise and set? Why do we see planets sometimes but not other times? What are the reasons for seasons? This session will answer these questions and many more. Celeste will bring three models, which will enable us to see and understand some of the mystery of the sky. Hope you can join us for this very informative, interactive session.

Regularly scheduled for 2nd Tuesdays of the Month,
11:00 am – 12:00 pm

All residents are invited to join us for our presentations, which were planned by the Activities Committee of Emery Bunch. Donations at the events are gratefully accepted to cover the expenses.

For more information about joining and/or volunteering for Emery Bunch of Ashby Village, you can contact residents Tobey Klein (510-653-4205, witboat@gmailcom) or Sam Foushee (510-393-6749), slfoushee@comcast.net).
