Hike in Tilden Park, Berkeley
Meet at the front of the Nature Center in Tilden Park.

There will be two hike options. Celeste Burrows is leading a moderate 3-4 mile hike. This will be a "getting back in shape" hike. There will be a gradual 700 foot climb to Wildcat Peak. From there we can observe an expansive Bay Area View of almost 360 degrees. In addition there will be the option of a shorter nature walk of approximately one mile that goes to Jewel Lake and returns to the Nature Center.

  Bring: Water, lunch or snack, and hiking poles if you normally use them on walks. Expect variable weather: Bring sun protection (hat or sunscreen) as well as jacket for possible colder or windier weather.
  Carpool possible: Email or call Celeste at 510-601-1211 if you want a carpool pickup at North Berkeley Bart or if you can provide a ride.
