THIS MONTH'S FOCUS: Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS) Proposals: An Update
Wondering about what’s happening with proposals to fund long-term services and support for us as we age?
Most adults age 65 and older in the U.S. will need long-term care toward the end of their lives, and the U.S. patchwork of long-term care financing leaves many families shouldering large costs (over $130 billion in 2020).
Don’t miss this Elder Action meeting!
Ramon Castellblanch (Prof. Emeritus, Public Health, San Francisco State University) will share information about recent proposals from the CA Department of Aging, how to fund LTSS, and who will be included. Join us on Zoom.
Are you interested in advocacy for political reform and social justice? Do you want to act on this together with other members of the Ashby Village community? Join us for ElderAction, an Ashby Village interest group.
Please join this rapidly growing group so that we can make our voices heard in these critical times.
Conveners: Julie Freestone and Rochelle Lefkowitz
