Take Charge of Your Passwords:
How to Organize & Manage Passwords
Elders, like any other individuals, need strong passwords to secure their online accounts, personal information, financial assets, and devices. As the use of technology and the internet becomes increasingly widespread, password protection is crucial to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information and to prevent fraud or unauthorized access. With strong and unique passwords, elders can reduce the risk of cybercrime and protect their assets and personal information. (Information adapted from ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence robot.)
This Zoom workshop is the second in a series of two workshops on passwords. This second workshop will cover the pros & cons of different strategies for organizing passwords: sticky notes, note cards, handwritten lists, typed lists, storage in browsers (like Chrome and Safari), and third party password managers.
The workshop will include presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A. After the workshop we’ll email additional resources to the participants.
