EINSTEIN AND THE BOMB
Available on Netflix and lasts an hour and 16 minutes.

We will discuss EINSTEIN AND THE BOMB.

Albert Einstein was often referred to as the father of atomic energy, and this docudrama explains how the theory of relativity - a small mass converting to large energy - came to influence the the development of the atomic bomb during the Manhattan Project. He wrote to President Roosevelt to speed up the invention of atomic power, something he later regretted.  Einstein was a militant pacifist who believed in peace and warned that organized force can only be opposed by organized force. His deepest intent was to reveal the mystery of creation.
