The Fall Prevention Presentation focuses on the factors that contribute to falls and how older adults can reduce their risks. Topics that will be discussed are Changing Behaviors, Nutrition & Medication Management, Fitness, and Home Safety Checklist. Participants will receive a Falls Prevention Manual and other useful information that is easy to read.
You will also learn about a comprehensive 8-week course on this topic beginning on 2/6. (The course will be limited to 12 participants and is open to Ashby Village members and volunteers only).
The service is offered by the SIPP staff of Alameda County Health Care Services Agency.
